1960-1964 GENERATOR SPLASH SHIELDS

This is the rubber splash shield for the rear of the generator. It's intent is to keep dirt and debris out of the generator. Some mechanics thought it also kept too much heat inside the generator and caused the solder to melt from the internal electrical connections and burn up the generator. This is why most of these shields were thrown away. This part will fit all models of the 1960 - 1964 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet that are still running a generator.
