1960-1965 UNDER ENGINE BRACES - V-8

This is a support brace that mounts to the engine frame mount bolts on the rear of the shock towers. This brace will help to stiffen the front end suspension of all models of the 1960-1965 Ford Falcons & Mercury Comet equipped with a V-8 engine. It can not be used with the stock single pipe exhaust system but will work well with any dual exhaust system. This part is intended to be used in conjunction with the Monte Carlo Bar, part number MCB-1.
NOTE: OVER TIME THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT MAY HAVE BECOME UNSQUARE FROM ORIGINAL SPECS. THIS IS USUALLY CAUSED FROM NOT HAVING SUPPORT BRACING. IF YOU HAVE FITMENT ISSUES PLEASE REFERENCE THE SHOP MANUAL ON HOW TO CHECK THE SQUARE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. WE HAVE HAD TO USE A FRAME SPREADER ON THE LOWER RAILS TO GET THE COMPARTMENT BACK TO FACTORY SPECS.
