1962 DELUXE SIDE MOLDING CLIPS

This part is the clip which is used to attach the stainless steel moldings to the outside body panels of the 1962 Falcon with Deluxe Trim. These clips are also used on the 1963 2 Dr Sedan 62A molding. The rubber that may be on the original clips is not included on the aftermarket clips. The purpose of the rubber is to keep moisture from entering the mounting holes. We recommend using a dab of silcone or RTV sealant when installing the clips.
   To correctly install the clip, place the tabs on the back of the clip into the square hole in the body panel. Using a pair of suitable pliers, squeeze together the 2 small tabs on the front of the clip. This squeezing action will force the 2 tabs on the rear of the clip to expand outward and lock the clip into place. Clip measures roughly 1 3/8" x 7/8".
