This part is a set of the 3 required Battery Cables for all models of the 1963( Late)-1964 Ford Falcon & Mercury Comet equipped with a 6 cylinder engine. Included in this set is a 13" cable which attaches between the Positive Battery Terminal and the BAT Terminal on the Starter Solenoid. Also included is the 24" cable that attaches between the Starter Terminal of the Starter Solenoid and the Starter Motor. The third cable that is included is 24" long and attaches between the Negative Battery Terminal and the Ground Bolt on the Engine Block. The Battery Terminals on these cables are brass, as is the original.
Early vs. Late 1963/4 Ford Falcon The location/position of the Battery Tray is the key to determining if the Falcon is an Early or Late 1963 Production Model. If the Battery Tray is positioned parallel to the Fender and perpendicular to the Radiator Core Support it is an Early Production Falcon. If the Battery Tray is perpendicular to the Fender and parallel to the Radiator Core Support it is a Late Production Falcon.
