1964-1965 STEERING BOX - 1-1/8 INCH SECTOR SHAFT

This is a NEW steering box for all models of 1964 - 65 Ford Falcons and Mercury Comets. This steering box has a 1-1/8 inch sector shaft. Although not pictured it also has the correct 39 inch steering shaft. The ratio of this steering box is 16:1.

The easiest way to determine the sector shaft diameter is to use a socket. If a 1 1/8 inch socket will fit the nut that retains the pitman arm onto the sector shaft, then you have a 1 inch sector shaft. If a larger socket is required then you have a 1 1/8 inch sector shaft.
